TENPUDO — THE SHOP

I started kendo when I was 11 years old. I wasn’t particularly strong or skilful but I continued to practice kendo up until today, mostly because of my teacher’s humanity, who also taught me the concept of aesthetic beauty. I believe that kendo teaches some important elements which are useful in our every day life. What we learn in kendo studies shall become the foundation of our life. It is never too late to start   Kendo.  I believe that if one decides to make the first step to enter the learning of the way of the sword, the gate is always open at any point of his or her life.

All Kendoka are welcome to stay at my house up to 3 days for Kendo practice, while visiting Kyushu. And I am  happy to look after your Kendo practice during your stay
